I love it when someone tells me that they've used one of my blankets so much that it's now threadbare. I find a deep satisfaction in knowing that something I created may bring a small piece of beauty and warmth to someone's life.

 

Knowing that someone may reach for one of my blankets to give them a bit of comfort when they're sick or heart-broken, or if they are curling up with a loved one (human or pet) does my heart good.

I began knitting as a sort of meditation. The ritual of it centers me. The feeling of the yarn going through my fingers creates something visceral for me.

 

I may use a pattern again, but always in different combinations. ​Each of my blankets is one of a kind. I hope you find one that speaks to you, and that it warms and comforts you for years to come.
